Why a Workshop?
This is not just a tour of the rainforest. The workshop experience is designed to stimulate awareness, compassion, and connection, giving participants the rare chance to learn through their own curiosity and sense of wonder. It is a rich, engaging, and exciting immersion into the world of tropical ecology, indigenous culture, sustainable development, and rainforest research. It is often stated that “my experience in the Amazon changed my life!” Our goal is every one of our participants will return transformed.

Why the Amazon?
The Amazon is one of the world’s most astonishing and important ecosystems and home to the world's largest intact tropical rainforest. We have chosen the Peruvian Amazon as the site for our Rainforest Workshops because of its unique combination of accessible primary rainforest, political stability, friendly culture, and unparalled learning opportunties for educators and students alike.
